Claim Your Power

After recent events in my life, I was left thinking about what it means to be powerful. Does it mean being in control or having specific things in your life? Does it mean being positive and happy with where you are? What does the word power actually mean? These are questions that have been living in my mind of late.

Sometimes no matter how hard you try or how positive you try to be, life just happens and takes you by surprise. Often this is not in the way we hope or like but nevertheless it is what it is and it’s up to each of us to make the best of the situation we find ourselves in, even if it is forced upon us.

It has been a difficult few weeks but I feel such gratitude for my life and the people around me. I truly am blessed and I know that no matter what happens there is always love. Material things come and go but who we are and our connection to Source will always stay.

It is about owning who we are and how we feel in each moment. It is about being honest and true with ourselves. That is not always an easy place to be but it is authentic and I believe that is what it really means to be powerful. Truth is power and within that power to love and forgive, healing can begin.

“Recovery is realising that the fullness of life awaits you,
and that the difficult struggle will turn into the divine path.”
(Alin Austin)

  1. Dear Lisa, thank You for another brilliant profound meditation. Besides, power is emptiness that fills us. Emptiness in its pure Divine sense that is fullness…of our Spirit. More complete it’s, stronger we’re in front of any ventures of existence.

    Best regards,
