(For the love of Cacao – Chocolate Tour in Mindo, Ecuador)

My personal growth and journey has brought me to new adventures in a different way and I am currently studying a course on Naturopathic Nutrition which I am loving. It brings all the elements of living metaphysically and my love for food all into one place. Food has always been a big part of my life. I absolutely live for food and have travelled around the world just to eat amazing food which included an amazing tour to watch how chocolate is made from the raw cacao bean…. also eating the best chocolate brownie I have ever tasted in my entire life (yes it was that good).

In the years I was unwell, my love for food was taken away from me. A medical procedure left me in pain whenever I would eat or even have a sips of water but was later corrected. I was also lucky to avoid being on a feeding drip for life which was the fate of several patients with the rare condition I was diagnosed with at the time. However, I did develop severe IBS and food intolerances on top of everything else, alongside severe chronic pain and a blood disorder, which I healed myself from through eating the right foods and looking after my spiritual and emotional health.

I am blessed with excellent health now in every way and my passion for food returned in a big way as a result. I believe food is there not only to be enjoyed but also serves as medicine to bring healing and nourishment to our bodies and soul. It is an amazing gift we have been given from nature. I look forward to sharing some more on this delicious learning journey wherever it may lead.
