Boundless Bliss

Strength comes from knowing who you are

This year I will be approaching a very special anniversary where I will be celebrating 7 years of amazing vibrant health after experiencing an incredible healing journey and I am excited for the times ahead. There are more journeys on the horizon I’m sure and creatively I am in the best place I have been for a very long time. There is a lot happening offline to make my dreams happen and I am deeply committed to my creativity and what my soul is calling me to.

I always get asked what will I be doing next or rather where I will be trekking or travelling to next. I think I have gained some sort of reputation with my adventures since my health improved nearly 7 years. I am laughing about it as I am writing now because it is so true. I am always up to something but I don’t always share it until I am ready to share it. Despite my adventurous streak it takes a lot of energy to manifest and stay in that energy so I like to quietly do what I need to do and see where life takes me. Also, I don’t always feel like I need validation from anywhere because I have such a big trust in the Universe and that wherever I end up I will always be supported by life’s magic.

It has been a few years since I have done a big trek and I haven’t planned anything like that recently (not yet) but I’m sure that will happen when it’s meant to. When a mountain calls me I will be there for sure. In the last year 7 years I have trekked the Sahara Desert, mountains of Iceland and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, travelling to America, South America and India for fun, food and personal development, defying anything that doctors told me over a decade ago about my health and taking life into my own hands. It was the best decision and allowed me to follow my bliss and visit such amazing places. I see much more travel in my future but I find the best adventure right now is within myself and does not require any travel, only an open heart and new eyes to see possibilities and the goodness of life.

We are always travelling in some way and being able to look at your glass half full makes all the difference in the world. It’s a game changer.

“Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us, or we find it not.” (Ralph Waldo Emerson)

Have a blissful week,

Finding Your Gold

“Service is the rent we pay for the privilege of living on this earth.”
(Shirley Chisholm)

I love this quote. When I first came across this it had such a huge impact on me and it reminded me of why we are all here and how we all have a mission on this planet whether it is in our jobs, our families and in anything else we are meant for or destined for in our lifetime across all lifetimes (if you believe in past lives). Yesterday saw another New Moon and the start of a new cycle. I am learning to love this part of nature’s natural cycle because it allows us such an opportunity to tap into the abundance of the Universe and what we truly desire. I have made my new moon wishes for this month and I decided to dream very big. Sometimes when we put out our desires to the Universe they don’t always make sense or they may seem so impossible to achieve that it would be so easy to shy away from them but the heart is such a powerful force. It is the embodiment of love and when we come from that place we can surely have faith in ourselves and the bigger picture no matter how impossible something may seem.

I know a lot of people comment on some of my successes and how much fun I look like I am having on social media when I post some of my positive posts but in the background where I don’t share the majority of my life, there is so much more that goes into achieving some of things I do and if I didn’t have any faith I wouldn’t do any of it. Most of the things I have done, I have had no idea how it was going to come into fruition. I decided in my mind that I would manifest them and set out firstly within my spiritual practice to focus on my vision and my mission. From there, I made a commitment to stay true to my visions no matter what. Life is too short to not try things and go for what you love. The worst that can come from it is our perceived failures if something doesn’t seem to work out but there is wisdom in every experience and nothing is ever a waste.

I decided I wanted to live my life without regrets and give things a try even if it scares me (especially if this happens). When you are faced with your mortality at a young age like I was, then it completely changes your perspective and outlook on life. It makes you realise that we don’t have an infinite amount of time here on Earth. In fact we don’t know how long we are here for and if we truly knew that then the question to ask is… ‘how would you live your life differently?’ That’s why the above quote had such an impact on me. As part of the collective, we each have a part to play and gifts to give. We can make lots of plausible excuses such as money and time to not do something but I believe that there is never a right time to do anything and you have to just do it.

Go for gold because your life is waiting for your beautiful gifts.

Happy New Moon,

Lisa ♥

The Choice For Love

Love is the foundation from which everything else is built.

Hi beautiful readers,

Last week’s energy with the Summer Solstice was particularly powerful. I can still feel it in the air this week as we enter this new season and changes are afloat in so many ways for all of us. We are also in the waning phase of the moon cycle which is a period of releasing and letting go of anything that no longer serves us. The two energies seem to be working in sync with each other to bring us what we need in our lives if we are open to it. In the time I took off from blogging, I have been tracking the moon cycle a lot more and how it can affect us, sometimes on such a subtle level, and unless we take the time to be still these subtle layers may go unnoticed.

During the Summer Solstice weekend I decided to go away on a retreat in Glastonbury set up by The School of Naturopathy Wales. It was such a magical weekend with amazing people and the journey we all shared together. Plus the plant based food that was served was out of this world and on a new level of deliciousness. I could easily stay vegan if I was served that food every day. Food has been and will remain one of my greatest loves in life. I made a commitment last year to begin my course to study Naturopathic Nutrition. It was the next step in my development and learning and it has been the greatest of years in terms of what I have got out of it for my own health and also the most challenging because of the healing that needed to occur for me to reach the stage during the Summer Solstice where I felt worthy within myself again and could stand proud of the woman I have become, knowing that I have so much more to give. The desire lives stronger than ever for me to fulfill my mission in this lifetime to help others with their health and wellbeing with the training I received and the life experiences I have been through.

I believe that no matter what it is we want or desire in life, we have to come from our heart space and resonate and align with the frequency of love. Love is the key and the foundation to everything else. Love can move mountains and unless we can feel that inside of ourselves, we can’t go out into the world and help others. The energy of love is the most powerful of all. Sometimes it takes going on a retreat, moving out of our comfort zone and taking some reflection time to come back to ourselves and this is where it starts. Love is the oxygen and elixir to enliven our spirits and when we are recharged and filled with loving goodness, it is then we can move out into the wider world to be who we are and do what we were born to do. I am still reflecting on my weekend away and moving through many shifts but I know from previous experiences that this is always for my Highest Good. I am happy to be here and sharing with you all again.

Namaste,
Lisa ♥
