September Rhythms

“I need the seasons to live to the rhythm of rain and sun.”

(Sophie Marceau)

Hello Beautiful readers, how the Virgo are you? The New Moon energy from the weekend is setting the scene for the month ahead and I am personally loving the new energy it has brought. If you didn’t see my last post I spoke briefly about the New Moon in Virgo that just happened. It is all about creating healthy habits and health is a big theme this month. We are on the cusp of another seasonal change in September and the more we ensure we look after our health, the better prepared our bodies will be. Of course health is something I consider on all levels and not just the physical. What we feed our minds and hearts is just as important if not more so. Everything begins from the mind and what we visualise and set intentions for will put us in good stead for what is to come. We may not always know what is around the corner but we can certainly consciously create our days and add value in some way.

Something I decided to start doing again is scheduling myself into my own diary. I stopped doing that for a while and thought it was a good time to start up this habit again. We often make so much time for work, friends, spouses, and other things but how often do we give ourselves our own time and attention. This has stirred something in my soul to look at what is important to me for sure. It is food for thought. If you were to schedule yourself into your own diary and keep that appointment, how would that make you feel? Does it stir something inside of yourself? When we give our time and attention to others and our work we are adding value in so many areas. If we can do this for others then we can do this for ourselves. In doing so we are owning our worth and valuing who we are. We are continually coming back to a place of love and this is priceless. No matter what, there is infinite consciousness which flows through us.

Where will you take yourself this September?

Namaste,

Lisa ♥

Treasures of Hope…

peace-1043087_1280

“When we possess the treasure of hope,
it gives rise to other treasures, too.
Hope draws forth our inner potential and
strength. Hope is a magic weapon that enables
us to make our dreams come true.”
(Daisaku Ikeda)

I am celebrating a very special anniversary today. It was six years ago today that I received my Gohonzon, a scroll in Nichiren Buddhism to which you chant the very powerful mantra Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo. This was a very significant event which was the catalyst in helping me to realise my own inner potential and life-force. At the time I received the Gohonzon, I was in such a different space to what I am today. I have done things and overcome so much that would have been unimaginable to me six years ago. I have travelled to places and beyond which has forever changed me. I have met amazing souls who I am proud to call family. I have lost and gained. I have failed and succeeded. I have feared… and loved even more as a result.

There is so much to life and it started from that day I received my Gohonzon. It was the day I made a commitment to myself and to take responsibility to change my life. I had no idea it would change as much as it has and I have such a deep gratitude for what life has given me. It’s more than anything money can buy (although that is always nice of course). It is those treasures we have inside of ourselves, that is the real gold. It is what truly matters and what we have to give.

Emptied clean, I have the opportunity to live in a new way… a way that is more authentic, loving and worthy in every way. There is hope on the horizon. Sure there will always be ups and downs but nothing can ever take away what is real. Every day we are all alive is a gift and as long as we have hope, we have everything.

“Everything is born from hope.”
(Daisaku Ikeda)

In light and love,
Lisa
